Cooperative Services

Equipment Sharing

The Shared Equipment Program allows communities to rent, borrow, purchase, loan, lease, buy or sell a wide range of equipment to and from other communities. In addition to the listing on this website, the Cooperative Services Division also publishes a inventory of available items (see below).

The program is now limited to Public Works equipment, but may look to an expansion to other departments if there is a demand. Towns establish their own terms and prices or fees that may be applicable. Sample Agreements are available from the Cooperative Services Division. All equipment-sharing negotiations are done directly between communities; GPCOG does not facilitate equipment-sharing arrangements.
